Need Help Focusing

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

I’m a teenager and was recently diagnosed with ADD. I have trouble keeping on-task while trying to get the volumes of homework done. I am in an accelerated program and have 5-6 hours or homework a night. I tried a sample of Concerta and it really seemed to help me focus and stay on track. My Mom and Dad are disabled. My Dad and I have no insurance and heed help!

Depression/Anxiety

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

I have struggled with depression and anxiety my entire life. Recently, I decided to try prescription treatment instead of suffering through the terrible effects. To achieve a minimal balance, my prescriptions cost over $350/ month — very difficult for a single person with no insurance coverage to afford.

Medication Or Food For The Month?

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006

I am a 62-year-old woman on 5 medications monthly. I have prescription coverage (but not much longer). I am too ‘’young'’ for government help and I am not employed (after operations). I cannot afford my medications even with my husband’s retirement monies. I have many bills including a mortgage and must choose each month between my medications or food …please help!

I Cannot Afford The Medicines That Are Prescribed

Monday, November 27th, 2006

I moved back to Ohio, and have had no luck finding permanent work. I also have applied for disability because of several health issues. I have been waiting over a year for a hearing. I cannot afford a lot of medicines that are prescribed; most are over $100.00 each.

I Have Major Depression

Monday, November 27th, 2006

I have been diagnosed with major depression and because I am not eligible for Medicare, I cannot afford the high cost of my medications that I must take every month. Without them I am subject to panic and anxiety attacks. The doctor has also prescribed medicine for things that I see that are not there. I do not know where else to turn and hope that you will be able to help me.
