Have No Insurance

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

I am bipolar and can’t afford any of my medication, so I suffer on a daily basis. Also I have Breast Cancer, and had to have a radical mastectomy, radiation etc,. And the medical bills are over $100,00.00, which I have no way of paying for it. I also was in a boating accident in 1988, with a fracture lumbar, etc, and now have arthritis real bad.

Hitting The 80 Miles Per Hour Fast Ball!

Thursday, October 26th, 2006

Being diagnosed with Bipolar 1, has been the roughest thing I have ever had to face. It is even harder than hitting an 80 miles per hour fastball. I have been reminded a couple times that it is not a cold and it just does not go away. I am going to have this for the rest of my life. I think to myself if I am going to have this for the rest of my life I better be making some plans to prepare for this. However, at this time in my life the medicine that I need to take is too expensive, and I am searching for ways to find the cheapest way to get help and aid for the medicine that I need. Without help, I am going to loose everything that I have. I know that I cannot get off the expensive medicine because you cannot fight this battle without medicine, and I know the key to winning the battle is taking the right medicine for the right diagnoses. I do not want to loose the battle, so I am asking for some help!

Prescription Coverage

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

I have no medical coverage and cannot afford to pay for my prescriptions due to the high cost of living, limited salary and higher costs of prescriptions. Any help would be appreciated! I am currently paying three hundred dollars per month not including an eighty-five dollar fee to see my physician. A plan like this would be a lifesaver and I would be able to live without added stress. Thanks again.

Stroke

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

My husband is in the hospital due to a stroke. He has congestive heart failure, which caused a blood clot to go to his brain. He has lost a great deal of his vision. He is 48 years old and does not have insurance. We do not qualify for any state assistance because of our assets (a home and two vehicles plus a little bit of savings).

Lovettia’s Story

Wednesday, October 25th, 2006

I have irritable bowel, Raynauds’s Syndrome and a breathing disorder. I lost my job in 2004, so I have been uninsured for almost two years. Prescription drugs are very expensive and if has been difficult to pay for all of the drugs I need. Sometimes I have not had enough money to purchase them. I really need some assistance to purchase my drugs.
